Market is a twice annual event that provides our designers an opportunity to experience the furnishings, artwork and accessories that we sell first-hand. Midtown Crossing has become one of Omaha’s hottest spots for dining, shopping and… living! The urban living trend has taken our fair city by storm and you can get a taste of this trend by visiting the Magic At Midtown event.
Magic At Midtown is a tour of upscale urban residences at Midtown Crossing (220 South 31st Avenue, the building hosts the Grey Plume restaurant on the 1st floor. Enter from the Farnam Court entrance for a tour of the entire 2nd floor condominiums). These amazing, professionally designed spaces are open to the public, and the event will incorporate many additional activities, including a boutique, a Turkey Trot Run, Designer Nights and more! Spanning from November 18 through December 4, the tour is open every day except Thanksgiving Day, from 11 AM to 7 PM. Sixty area interior designers have collaborated to design 12 luxury condominiums that have been split into 32 distinct spaces. Interiors Joan and Associates designed the Bay Chief Joslyn Condo and patio terrace.
General admission tickets are available at the door. Admission is $20 per person. Group admission is $12.50 per person for groups of 15 people or more. All proceeds go to benefit the Joslyn Castle Trust, a non-profit organization that works to generate awareness, foster appreciation, and attract financial support to preserve and restore the buildings and grounds of the Joslyn Castle.

Interiors Joan and Associates is pleased to announce that Jerome Bergmeier has joined our firm as an interior designer. Jerome grew up on a farm outside of Wilber, Nebraska. He is a 1996 graduate of Southeast Community College with a degree in Architecture and a 1999 graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle where he earned his degree in interior design.
For 14 years he worked as a designer and high-end furniture buyer throughout Southern California, living in Pasadena, Laguna Beach, San Diego and Palm Springs. Jerome has traveled around the country on buying trips to explore new and exciting furniture and accessory companies.
Jerome recently moved back to his native Nebraska to be closer to family, to spend more time with his 10 nieces and nephews and to escape the earthquakes! He enjoys traveling throughout our United States and Europe, hiking, watching hockey and is an avid European Autos enthusiast.

Interiors Joan and Associates and Ironwood Builders have partnered together to create a stunning entry for the 2011 Lincoln Spring Parade of Homes… and to bring hope to those who are facing the most daunting challenge of their lives.
Prior to opening the home to the public, the two firms are sponsoring a private “Evening of Hope” event on May 7, featuring a silent auction and donation opportunity, with all proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society’s Look Good…Feel Better program.
